Artist's Comments
This time the angle was different, and it was a rainy, windy evening with thunderstorms brewing. Just as all hope seemed lost for the shoot, the sun dropped under the clouds and lit up the foreground and the hill just long enough for me to squeeze a handful of exposures off. I couldn't use grad filters for this shot due to the positioning of the brightest part of the image and also the hill itself, so the shot was exposed for against the sky and the foreground was dodged in Photoshop afterwards, a testament to how digital photography allows you to capture photographs that would simply not have been possible with slide film.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
